HBOThe episode starts with Victoria waking up from a weird dream about tsunamis. She stares at the ocean in front of her, with her house in North Carolina steps away from the sand. Lochlan showed too many videos for her last night. At breakfast Piper tries to decipher her mother’s dream, a warning maybe? Did Victoria dream about the misfortune that will follow the Ratliff soon enough? Saxon does not buy the meaning thing, for him, it is more straightforward: You dream of fire and snakes because you are afraid of them.
Timothy learns through a voicemail that the FBI got a search warrant for his office and his colleague advises him not to talk to anyone. Feeling overwhelmed with the nonstop messages on his phone and Saxon’s, Timothy takes Pam’s advice and hands it in his phone and tells his family to do the same. Saxon throws a tantrum and blames Piper for getting everything she wants. He tells Timothy he loves to work and the importance of building his clients. Timothy tries to shift the tone of the conversation by telling him how proud he feels for his son’s work and the bright future he sees ahead for him. Trying to protect Saxon from the disaster ahead, Timothy convinces him that the break will be good for them, and when they are back in office, they will be stronger than ever. Pam also brings Saxon a blender and tells Lochlan he has a corrective posture session.
At another table, Fabian is talking with Sritala about maybe performing at the dinner show when he is interrupted by Rick. With a charisma never seen before, he tells her he is a Hollywood producer and is in Thailand for business. She would be the person for a movie he is working with a director in Bangkok, which Rick already knows is where she is heading. Charmed, Sritala gives him her card and agrees to a meeting. Chelsea watches everything from afar and wants to know what her life partner is up to. A true romantic, she shares how hard it is for her when he does not let her in in his life, and that everything about him concerns her, as they are soulmates. “Our signs aren’t even compatible” is what she gets in return. Amrita stops by to remind him of his session with her. Rick opens up about his long run of mistakes and bad things he has done. He shares that not getting to know his dad has ruined him and he does not see a way of getting his life back, but he could still use some satisfaction.

HBOValentin offers healing sessions for the ladies. Kate does not really believe in it, and Jaclyn encourages Laurie to let Valentin put his energy inside her. Whatever happens in Thailand stays in Thailand right?
Gaitok feels a little braver and offers his services to Sritala in case she needs extra bodyguards in Bangkok. Mook is proud that he spoke up, and that he would get out of the island for her. Srtitala’s bodyguards do not take the news as happy as Mook. They nag him and call him a pussy.
All the pool Saxon introduces the protein shake to Lochlan who gulps without a drop of enjoyment. Saxon tells him he will help his little brother get laid that week. Later in his corrective posture session, Lochlan learns more than just sitting correctly. He sits in a defensive posture and protects himself with his feminine side. Among all the strong personalities in his family and managing to be on their plane of reality, Lochlan needs to find his own to thrive.
At the Buddhist temple, Piper gets an appointment with Luang Por Teera to discuss the one-year program she wants to enroll in.
While Chloe and Chelsea talk, we learn that Gary/Greg lies more than just his name. Chloe knows he has an ex-wife, but he barely talks about her. Gary told her that she was a mental patient severely depressed, who killed herself walking towards the ocean until she drowned. For those who watched season 2 of White Lotus, we know that Greg/Gary ordered Tanya’s murderer. Chelsea is processing everything when Rick tells her he is going into town for weed and she follows. Saxon steps in and introduces himself to Chloe.
In town, while Rick relaxes with every draw of weed, Chelsea wonders if they will ever have fun again. Rick finds the snake show around the corner a perfect idea for them. They watch as two guys display and interact with the snakes for the few people there to see. Rick is very high and gets out to watch the other venomous snakes all locked in cages. In a lunatic move, he frees all the snakes, and one bites Chelsea on the ankle. She is rushed by the people from the snake show to the hospital getting her second life-threatening experience. Rick then wonders if the weed was laced.
At dinner Laurie talks about her healing energy session with Valentin and the “connection” she felt. Kate does not really believe in this sort of new meditation practice, it is a bit witchy for her taste. Jaclyn tells her that she prefers the witchy over the male-dominated practices and narratives in Christianity. Here is where ideals start to fall apart. Kate is a woman and likes going to church, every Sunday to be exact. It is not strange for her to be surrounded by a bunch of conservatives, they are great families above all. Laurie asks if she is a Republican and Kate shouts “No!”, but quickly adds she is an independent. Her husband? For certain a republican. Laurie and Jaclyn don’t even try to mask their confusion. “You didn’t vote for Trump though, did you?” Laurie launches the core question of this conversation which is becoming an interrogation. From Kate’s mouth “Are we really gonna talk about Trump tonight?”. From her face and body language, she gives all Jaclyn and Laurie need to know. She did vote for him. Later that night it is time for Kate to overhear the gossip of their friends about her.
After a whole day of learning Belinda enjoys dinner with Pornchai. She opens up about her boss’s death back in Hawaii, and about Tanya McQuoid not following the plan of investing in her spa. That is when the bells ring again, louder this time. She goes to his table and asks Gary if they know each other. He plays dumb, lying in all his answers while Chloe says all white bald old men look the same. Later in her room, she feels like something, or someone is in her room.

HBOTimothy sleeps the dinner away while Saxon tells the family about the yacht invitations and the moon party. He and Chloe flirt across tables which is not unnoticed by Gary. Later in bed Victoria asks if something is going on and offers Timothy another pill not knowing he is already under the effect of one.
Rick calls an old friend called Greg asking for help with a few things in Bangkok. Chelsea is still incredulous that he let the snakes out and that he will leave even after her two near-death experiences. He tells Chelsea he felt bad about the snakes being encaged and apologizes. Chelsea calls him insane and reminds him she won’t let go of him easily.
